Consumer products are all around us but have you ever wondered how they came to be? Engineers use a few simple but very powerful tools: Basic principles of geometry, the product design cycle, and Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) software.
This course will walk students through the product design cycle where they will learn how to use CAD software to turn their ideas into reality. A major focus of this course is how to design products for a sustainable and green future.
Software: Classes will be held on Zoom. Students will use OnShape to design.
